ZAcycle Refund & Return Policy

Overview

At ZAcycle, we strive to provide high-quality cycling products that meet your expectations. If you ordered the wrong item, changed your mind, or the product didn’t match your expectations, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of the product to return it for a refund.

If the item has a manufacturing defect, does not match its description, or is faulty, it is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We work closely with all our partnered brands to ensure warranty claims are handled promptly and professionally. ZAcycle will assist in facilitating the warranty process to ensure you receive a fair resolution.

Our refund and return policy lasts 14 days. After 14 days, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange

The returns process is the customers' responsibility. For products damaged during shipping, the responsibility is on the customer. Customers are liable for all shipping fee's incurred to either Gqeberha, South Africa or Pinetown, South Africa. 

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in its original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

🚫 Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Custom products (e.g., frames with custom paint)
  • Perishable items

Please do not send your purchase directly to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds

In certain cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • If the item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts due to reasons not related to our error.
  • If the item is returned after the 14-day return period.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. Refunds may take up to 21 days to process. Rest assured, we will update you during this process.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will be issued to your original payment method within a few days.
  • If denied, we will provide an explanation.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company—it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank—some financial institutions have processing delays.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same item, email us at inquire@zacycle.com, and we’ll assist you through the process.

Shipping Returns

To return a product, please email us at inquire@zacycle.com to obtain the correct return address.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping fees.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is granted, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • For high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. ZAcycle is not responsible for lost or undelivered returns.
