WE'RE ON A PEOPLE MISSION
We are people-powered. Grit fuels us. And every kilometre we ride together takes us one step closer to a more connected, uplifted South Africa.
Pieter Opperman
ZA Cycle Brand Ambassador – George, Western Cape
Pieter isn’t just a cyclist — he’s a fighter, a survivor, and a voice for the silent battles so many South Africans face.
After overcoming life’s hardest punches — cancer, COVID, and the collapse of a business — Pieter found strength in the saddle. Not for speed. Not for medals. But for meaning. With his project The Unspoken Tour, Pieter plans to cycle solo across some of the toughest terrain in the country, raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention among South African men.
His journey is raw. His mission is real. Riding gravel roads with a heart full of purpose, Pieter will stop in towns across the Cape to share his story, speak with struggling men, and remind every person watching that you’re never alone on the road you're riding.
ZA Cycle is proud to support Pieter — not because he’s perfect, but because he’s powerful. Quiet. Relentless. Authentic.
This isn’t about gear. This is about grit.
Elijah Lubbe
Young Gun on the Rise
ZA Cycle Brand Ambassador – Gauteng, South Africa
At just 19 years old, Elijah is already making waves in the South African cycling scene. Fueled by grit, early mornings, and a passion for the ride, Elijah brings youthful fire and relentless ambition to everything he does — whether it’s crushing 180km races or waking up at 2:30am to chase a podium.
More than just a cyclist, Elijah is a marketer in the making — constantly working behind the scenes to grow ZA Cycle’s footprint in local clubs, races, and bike shops. He doesn’t just wear our badge; he builds it.
His work ethic is ferocious. His hunger is undeniable. And his vision? Clear as carbon fiber.
ZA Cycle is proud to back Elijah as he climbs the ranks of South African cycling — not just as an athlete, but as a brand builder, a content creator, and a future leader in the sport.
This is what the next generation of cycling looks like: bold, clever, and unstoppable.
